Before telling you what we do at Nativa de Corazón and how we do it, I would like to give you a little context, writing about who we are. This fashion brand was founded by Rosy and Adrián, who are also a married couple for practically the same amount of time that the brand has been around, which speaks to the meaning that this business has for us, which we consider, in many ways, our baby, and we are excited to see it grow. 
We created Nativa de Corazón with a very clear idea of creating unique and exclusive pieces, which will be based on the beautiful and rich textile tradition that exists in our country. Talking to you about looms is super interesting, but that topic deserves its own blog article, which we will share with you later. But the idea of being able to work hand in hand with great and very talented Mexican artisans filled us and continues to fill us with emotion at all times. We have always said that the DNA of Nativa de Corazón garments is, without a doubt, our textiles.
In this sense, to create our garments, we design from the textile, seeking inspiration in nature, to generate the combination of colors that will form the base of the loom, before the canvases are woven. Once we have the canvases woven on the pedal loom, we focus on the making of the garments, seeking to create unique and original pieces that transcend the barriers of the seasons and that those who wear them can do so proudly for many years.
At Nativa de Corazón we make slow fashion, not only because of the time it takes to make a garment that has been developed by hand, but also because of all the parts of the process that this concept encompasses. We are a brand that greatly respects all the parties involved, from the artisans to the people in charge of making it. Likewise, we try to be very transparent and give credit where appropriate.
That is why you can always find the name of the artisan who wove the textile on our labels, as well as the name of the person in charge of sewing it. That is why we consider ourselves a brand that creates luxury pieces, but not from an elitist or pretentious point of view, but from a more romantic point of view, in which we offer the opportunity to indulge in wearing a unique, exclusive piece, with a story to tell and that in its processes, has been respectful of those involved, as well as the environment. We are a brand that gives itself the luxury of making garments full of pride and tradition, from which we learn every day from wonderful artisans and we hope they do the same from us.
More than a brand, we are passionate people who are proud of our Mexico, of the beauty it has to offer, and who put our hearts into what we do, hoping to share it with people who feel proud to wear a garment with a lot of heart.
